The Basic Facts

Swedish ABBA

ABBA was a Swedish band, two boys & two girls starting a life together and falling in love with one another. A-B-B-A! Anni-Frid & Benny, Bjorn & Agnetha. ABBA, the Amazing Four!

The ABBA Genre

ABBA sang across a wide genre of music—The ABBA Genre: rock, country, disco, blues, easy listening, ballad, hymn, dance, jazz, classical, etc. They wrote all of their music.

Ten Years

They performed for ten years, from 1972 to 1982.
1 They had 15 golden hits in the U.S.
2 You will remember many of them when you hear them.

Re-United Today

All four members of ABBA have re-united to present a virtual re-enactment of past shows while adding new songs.

They won’t be giving tours, however. That has freed tribute artists like me to perform their music. It’s my great pleasure to sing my interpretive style of their glorious music here in America. ABBA’s magic is a worldwide virus, a joyful virus.

Hall of Fame

ABBA was inducted into the International Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by the Bee Gees in 2010 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. 3 They were also inducted into the Swedish Hall of Fame with its grand opening in 2014. [4]

Across Generations

ABBA’s music is eternal, reaching into the ages & spanning across the generations—all generations.

We Are ABBA

ABBA never sang someone else’s music. As ABBA, they sang about themselves, their feelings, and their relationships. But in singing about themselves, they sang about you & me. We are ABBA! Their presence is eternal.
